The North Vancouver Chamber offers a variety of services and benefits to help members promote their businesses, and overcome obstacles to business growth. They promote North Vancouver as a strong, vibrant economy.
The North Vancouver Chamber (NVC) has been the voice of business for their region for over 110 years. Their expansion over the years had resulted in a vast amount of content spread across three domains – hardly the ideal user experience for their members!
The main goal of this web design project was to unify their brand under one cohesive site. That would require a strong site architecture to create a logical order for all of those resources. Their secondary goal was to improve site-wide storytelling, to help potential members understand the scope of their capabilities.
NVC had well-established and vibrant branding. Our style conversations were focused on revamping the site's look and feel with fresh photography to support their secondary objective. We planned to make much larger use of authentic photos, to give potential members an instant connection with their community. The design goal was to instantly evoke NVC's relevance to businesses.
The new NVC website is a powerful resource for local businesses. Everything is readily accessible, from upcoming events and resources to the business directory, job board, and initiatives. The UX design is significantly more compelling, and at the same time easier to use. Their site is already experiencing significantly stronger visitor engagement than it was at the same time last year.
